Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale Is Live With Deals From Hoka, AllSaints and More—Here's What We're Shopping First

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024 is officially live with thousands of great deals on men’s summer and fall clothing, highly-coveted sneakers and dress shoes, essential men’s grooming products, and so much more. The sale runs from now through August 5, but the best deals are notorious for selling out within the first week or so. Thankfully, most sizes are still available in the styles we’re eyeing during what seems to be the most well-curated Anniversary Sale in years.

The main characters in the men’s world during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale are leather jackets, running shoes, and fresh new denim for fall. AllSaints remains an Anniversary Sale showcase brand this year and is poised to turn heads with its rugged hooded leather jacket. The Asics Gel-Kayano is normally the first athletic shoe to sell out during the sale, but the Hoka Mach 5 is poised to give it a run for its money. Stretch denim from brands like 7 For All Mankind, Mavi, and Rag & Bone are also marked down by the dozens in a variety of fits. After Men’s Journal shopped through the men’s deals during 2024’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, we found 10 that are worth your immediate attention.

Hoka Mach 5 Running Shoe in Mountain Spring/Puffins Bill, $105 (was $140) at Nordstrom

Although a ton of Hoka hiking shoes recently went on sale, there haven’t been any running shoe markdowns in months. Thankfully, you can grab the Mach 5 during the Anniversary Sale at 25% off the normal price (a generous discount for Hoka shoes) in your choice of three fun colors. The Mach 5 is a neutral runner with responsive cushioning that’s the ideal choice for those who like to go fast. These are a near guarantee to sell out, so make sure you grab your size ASAP.

AllSaints has featured the Anniversary Sale’s coolest leather jackets for years now, and they always sell out because they’re notorious for becoming that go-to fall jacket; this one is no different. The Harwood leather jacket features signature AllSaints coolness with the addition of a removable drawstring hood. It has silver metal accents—the correct choice—and is virtually trend-proof, so you’ll be able to wear it for years to come.

It was a toss-up between this stunningly dapper Tissot Chronograph and Shinola’s classic 47 mm Runwell, but the former is easier to make your daily driver. This Swiss-made watch features a durable sapphire crystal face and exudes style with its chocolate brown strap and deep cobalt blue face, and the brushed gunmetal case and accents are just too nice-looking to ignore. At 34% off the normal price, it’s also a fantastic value for a watch that should last you the rest of your life.

7 For All Mankind The Straight Leg Jeans in Black Cove, $125 (was $188) at Nordstrom

7 For All Mankind jeans aren’t cheap, but they offer the perfect balance of comfort and color—two things you don’t often find in black jeans, specifically. This pair fits like a standard pair of straight-leg jeans, with a little more room than a slim-fit in the seat and thigh and a consistent shape from the knee to the ankle. They’re made with enough elastane to keep things feeling completely unrestricted but you don’t have to sacrifice a lesser-quality black color like you do with some other stretchy black jeans, because—in our experience—7s are great at maintaining their tone after repeated washing.

Olukai shoe sales don’t happen frequently, but during the Anniversary Sale, you can score a pair of the brand’s always-comfortable sandals for less than the current price on both Zappos and Amazon. The Hokua is a low-profile pair of thong-toes that’s soft and water-resistant but still durable enough to handle hours of walking on vacation or at the beach.

$72 might seem like a lot for moisturizer, but this giant 16-ounce bottle of Men’s Journal readers’ favorite face product is likely to sell out—quickly. It’s a great moisturizer for guys who hate moisturizing because it goes on light, disappears instantly, and doesn’t leave your face feeling heavy with grease and grossness. It’s packed with good ingredients like Vitamins A and E and sea parsley that combine to leave your skin hydrated and clean, and it has SPF, which any dermatologist would recommend. Volcom is much more than the skate-surf brand we wore in the early ’00s. The brand makes wear-anytime staples at an affordable price, like these Frickin’ soft and stretchy $36 shorts. It has an inseam between 8 and 9 inches, which drapes slightly above the knee, and features a quartet of pockets for all the day’s essentials. Choose from three neutral colors ranging in sizes from small to 2XL.

Saxx’s underpants are renowned for their “Ball Park” pouch, which is essentially a guest house for the boys that keeps them secure. These are also equipped with flatlock seams and an anti-roll waistband, and they’re partially odor-resistant.
