Tom Holland and Zendaya have been in a relationship for three years, and their love for each other has been increasingly evident in their public behavior. On Oct. 24, Holland showed paparazzi just how dedicated he is to making sure his Emmy-winning girlfriend is safe and comfortable.
In a video posted on Instagram by photographer Jackson Lee, the two Spider-Man stars are seen getting out of a black SUV as photographers clicked away and flashes blinded the two actors. At first, Holland pushes forward with one arm to seemingly clear a path for them to walk in to their destination. But as he left her behind, photographers wielding cameras and cell phones swarmed around the Euphoria star.
Among the crowd were some fans who seemingly wanted autographs from Zendaya. The acclaimed actress appeared to stop and sign people’s things when the horde of photographers and fans around her started to close in. That prompted Spider-Man to step into action as he came back and started pushing people away from his girlfriend, then grabbed her and pulled her away from the clamoring crowd.
The move was deemed heroic by fans of the couple online.
“He really bulldozed his way there to rescue her,” one person wrote on X. “I hope they’re safe and this didn’t ruin their night!” Another remarked that Holland “went Spider-Man mode” to save the day. “The way he rescued her so fast, my respect for him just went up,” another X user chimed in.
The fourth Spider-Man film starring Holland is set for release on July 24, 2026.
