Ed Sheeran Sent Fans Into a Frenzy With Video Revealing Big News

Ed Sheeran unveiled some news on Instagram Wednesday that’s bound to excite fans. Sheeran also gave a bit of a teaser of what’s on the horizon, revealing a sample of his upcoming single Azizam.

Sheeran’s post on Instagram showed the singer in the studio having a great time, and the first four words of the caption perfectly sum it all up.

“Album done. Single soon,” Sheeran wrote. “I’m very excited as you can tell”

The 34-year-old singer wasn’t kidding about his excitement over the upcoming album and new single, as you can see below.

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement following Sheeran’s announcement, and the reactions poured in. Not only were they excited about the new album, but virtually every reply that referenced the song was overwhelmingly positive.

“When you dance Ed, we all dance! Azizam!!!” one fan wrote.

“LET’S GO ED SOUNDS INSANE,” replied another.

Even popular streaming service Spotify responded to Sheeran’s post:

“can promise you you’re not as excited as we are,” Spotify replied.

Premier League club Ipswich Town F.C. also replied to Sheeran’s post to show some love:

“We can’t wait ,” the club’s social account wrote.

Sheeran has released seven studio albums dating back to 2011. Following three-year gaps between each of his first three albums, he’s released five since 2017. This includes two releases in 2023, when Subtract was followed by Autumn Variations.
