Alan Ritchson Shares His Opinion on the ‘Reacher’ Finale

Actor Alan Ritchson took to social media on March 28 to share some ocean views — and a prediction about the finale of Reacher.
“You’re gonna watch me look at waves and food and you’re gonna like it,” Ritchson captioned an Instagram post. “#reacher finale on right now. Don’t be dumb and not watch it ten times,” he added.
In the accompanying video, Ritchson showed fans around what looked like a hotel room. At one point, he went outside to film the ocean.
“Reminds me of the crap I had to fight Paulie in in the finale. By the way, best finale of all time? I mean, I would say so,” he said, referring to the epic fight scene between his character, Jack Reacher, and Paulie, played by actor Olivier Richters, that happened during the finale.
Fans reacted to Ritchson’s video, many agreeing that the finale of the hit Amazon Prime series was excellent.
“The finale was so good,” one person wrote.
“The finale was brutal and epic! That Reacher and Paulie fight,” someone else said.
“That was a great season finale,” a third comment read.
“The season finale was epic! Those fights sequences were the best I have seen in a TV show,” a fourth Instagram user added.
Reacher first premiered back in 2022. The third and latest season finale aired on March 27. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show was renewed for a fourth season back in October 2024.
“Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season,” Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, said at the time. “We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance, and CBS Studios.”
