Benson Boone Had the Most Unique Way of Calling out Haters

Benson Boone doesn’t seem to mind if he has critics. However, the Beautiful Things singer does take exception if someone hates him without having any actual reason to feel that way.

Boone took to social media on Monday, April 21, to not only call out critics and haters but give an example of one head-scratching negative comment sent his way. The 22-year-old explained that someone said, “idek why I hate Benson Boone but it feels right,” and was quick to offer his own criticism of the comment.

The popular singer didn’t appear phased by the criticism itself, but instead requested that the comments just make some level of sense.

To help with that, Boone incredibly decided to tee up a few examples of criticism that his haters could use, calling one “super valid.” He even captioned the TikTok video, “I’m literally giving you ideas.”

“If you hate me or my music at least have a good reason for it. I just read a comment that said ‘idek why I hate Benson Boone but it feels right.’ Like WHAT!!?,” Boone wrote.

“How am I supposed to improve after reading that? At least say something valid like ‘he low key just flips everywhere can he doing anything else?’ or even ‘I just don’t like his songs even though I’m basing my opinion off the only one that I’ve heard over and over’ (super valid).”

Give credit where credit’s due; it would have been one thing for Boone to fire back at the criticism. Instead, he addressed it head-on and even had some self-criticism in the process.
