Just had to change my view and start looking up

A better set up, without the steps I had to step up
I grind I get up, survive for ever

Survived depression
the hell and the stormy weather
Taking my life to a higher level
It’s all in the mindset I just put it altogether

To take charge and control that inner voice

That’s the kind of negativity that I avoid
I won’t let the dark thoughts fill in the void
Making me feel like I’m buried in the soil

When I’m a seed that will grow and bring joy
So I’ve got to meditate and drown out the noise

Yeah I could sit here, and say life ain’t fair
Complain, and make excuses everywhere
Put the blame on everybody but myself
But hey that wouldn’t get me anywhere
I won’t remain in the same position every year

So I’m taking control, from the losses I learn and grow
My circumstances won’t define me
At the top is where you’ll find me
It’s all in the mind
Still keep climbing up!
