Timothee Chalamet, Without Kylie Jenner, Chills With Spike Lee at Knicks vs Lakers Game

Could Timothée Chalamet end up in Spike Lee’s next movie? On Thursday night, the two legends united at the Crypto.com Arena as the New York Knicks played the Los Angeles Lakers. As New Yorkers, both Lee and Chalamet are diehard Knicks fans. In a close hoops match, the Knicks lost to the Lakers, 109 to 113.

In the past, Chalamet has attended NBA games with his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, though, recently, following the death of her hairdresser, Jesus Guerrero, on February 21, Chalamet has rolled into many NBA games without Jenner.

Jenner and Chalamet did attend the 2025 Oscars together.

The official NBA X account noted that Lee and Chalamet were hanging together at the game, which prompted one X user to comment “spike lee cameo in the next dune gonna go crazy.”

The legendary director of such classics as Do the Right Thing and Malcolm X, Lee’s next film is the crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest. The film is a reimagining of the Kurosawa film High and Low. It stars Denzel Washington, Ice Spice, A$AP Rocky, Ilfenesh Hadera, and Jeffrey Wright. The film is set to be released sometime in 2025.

Chalamet’s next film is the A24 comedy-adventure, Marty Supreme. Along with Chalamet, Marty Supremse stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler The Creator, Sandra Bernhard, Fran Drescher, Penn Jillette, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, and Abel Ferrara. It is expected to hit theaters by Christmas, 2025.
