Wendy’s has brought back its fan-favorite vanilla Frosty for a limited time only. But while you’ll have to get it while you can, the limited edition flavor is available for just $1 through the end of September, as we bid farewell to summer.
The last time the fast food chain revived its beloved vanilla Frosty was in January 2024 following an eight-month hiatus. However, it was taken off the menu to make room for the triple berry and orange dreamsicle flavors that were available through spring and summer of this year.
In previous seasons, the vanilla Frosty was nixed to make room for other short-run flavors such as peppermint, pumpkin spice, and strawberry.
It’s unclear what fall and holiday-themed flavors Wendy’s has in store for the months ahead, or how long the Vanilla frosty will stick around for this time. A company spokesperson told People that “nothing on our menu is meant to last forever” and that they “don’t have an exact date that the vanilla Frosty will roll off of menus.”
In the meantime, fans can get the vanilla Frosty for just a buck as part of a promotion that began offering unlimited small Frostys for $1 starting on Aug. 5. The deal was initially only supposed to last through Sept. 15, but the spokesperson confirmed that it has since been extended to the end of the month.
The $1 Frosty deal is just one of several promotions Wendy’s is offering during the month of September. Beginning on Sept. 18 in time for National Hamburger Day and running through Sept. 22, the chain is also offering 1¢ Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers with any purchase through the Wendy’s app.
