At about 12 ounces, the Speedarc Matis is notably lighter than the Moab Speed 2 Mid (14.1 ounces) and Moab 3 Mid (17.3 ounces). The only bummer? This model doesn’t quite have the durability and all-terrain chops of the Moab 3; it’s designed for light to moderate terrain. I’d love to see an updated Speedarc Matis with deeper lugs (5mm, instead of the current version’s 3mm) for better grip on challenging trails.
