Setting an FKT on the Iconic 100-mile White Rim Trail

The White Rim Trail in Utah’s Canyonlands National Park is a 100-mile, off-road route. Generally tackled as a multi-day mountain-bike ride, it has recently become a popular challenge for fastest-known-time (FKT) attempts. Athletes who pursue an FKT say the point is to just try your hardest, understanding that even if you do set a new best time, someone faster is going to come along and break it someday. This Pro’s Closet film is a story about the White Rim FKT and how, on October 21, Reese Ruland crushed the most recent record.
