The Longest Underwater Cave in Sweden

Produced by KlättermusenUnderground Movement: Cave Diving in Jämtland highlights Expedition Bjurälven, an ongoing quest by divers to map the Dolinsjö Cave in central Sweden. The underwater system was discovered in 1979 by caver and diver Bo Lenander while he was exploring the bottom of Lake Dolinsjön, located near the country’s border with Norway. So far, divers have reached 1.5 miles into the cave, but no one knows how much farther it stretches.
